** New - Slide, Optic Ready - Brazos Lightning Unique, 9/38

The Brazos Lightning Optic Ready slide is a flat-topped, five-inch unique slide (9/38 only) with a rear optic plate cut that accepts the interchangeable AccuracyX Multi-Sight mounting plate.  Build your gun with the flexibility to run a wide range of reflex optics or even iron sights.  Precise machining mates the plate securely in the cut with the lug and screw holes perfectly matched.  This not only mounts the scope low on the slide but also creates a streamline silhouette with snag-free operation.  A lug milled onto the top of the optic plate cut precisely mates with a recess on the underside of the AccuracyX plate.  Three 6-32 TORX mounting screws further ensure that the mounting plate locks securely to the slide, holding the optic steady for precision and accuracy without loosening, breakage, or degradation over time.   

This slide is available only in 9/38.  It includes trademark Brazos Custom lightning holes in the front and bullet cocking serrations in the rear.  An optional front sight cut (Kimber/Novak dovetail) is also available.   The slide cut fits only the AccuracyX Mounting plate.  

Romeo3 users:  The Romeo3 sight extends forward a little farther than the front of the C-More plate.  Thus, we also offer this slide with a flat machined toward the front of the optic cut to allow for this extra length.  Slides cut for the Romeo3 will also work with the C-More RTS2 although there will be a narrow, flat at the front of the sight. Select the "Romeo3 Cut" if you want to use the Romeo3 sight.  Also select this cut if you might want to switch to a C-More RTS2 scope at some point.  For all other optics, choose the "Standard" cut.
