Thumbguard, BCG

The Kreb's style thumbguard is a stainless steel shield that is fitted to the back of the frame where it prevents the shooter's thumb from dragging the slide and thus causing malfunctions. Installation of the thumb guard requires a slot to be machined into the frame. The right-handed model, available for either STI or SV frames, is fitted to the left side of the frame.  A left-handed model, designed for left-handed shooters or anyone who wants a thumb guard mounted on the right side of the frame,is available for STI frames only.
