Front Sight, STI

STI manufactures a wide variety of sights for 1911 and 2011-style pistols. The front sight is available with either a competition (squared) or ramped (lower profile) cut blade.  The ramped sight is available in two heights: 0.140 designed to fit 3.9" and 4.15" slides and 0.175 designed to fit 5" and 6" slides.  For installation, these sights require an STI/SV (also referred to as "Heinie") dovetail cut:  0.300 wide x 0.060 deep with a 60-degree angle.
