Basepad, Grams

Depending on caliber, these basepads can increase your magazine capacity by one, two, or three rounds:

• The 2.5 mm basepad is used for 140 mm limited magazines and 170 mm open magazines. Fits USPSA magazine gauge.
• The 4.0 mm basepad is used to provide maximum capacity in 140 mm limited or 170 mm open magazines. Some modification of the tube may be required in order to fit the USPSA magazine gauge.
• The 11 mm basepad is also used for 140 mm open magazines for 38 super.

Note:  For your 38/140 magazines, we recommend either a Grams 4mm or a Dawson +1 basepad with an 11-coil Grams spring/follower kit.  This will enable you to get 21 rounds in your magazine, and the rounds will still be loose enough to reload to.  Inserting more than 21 rounds in the magazine may cause the last round to fall below the ribs in the tube and, thus, create feeding problems.
